Quarterly Update  Fall 2013

From the Desk of... Scott C. Boyle

Is it too late?
Did you miss the opportunity to refinance your home mortgage? Should you have pulled the trigger and bought that commercial office or manufacturing building that you have had your eye on? Or how about that apartment building that could provide you with a nice income stream in the years to come? We continue to read and hear that interest rates are on the rise. Although most in the know would agree that there is certainly more upside than downside pressure on rates, fact is, rates continue to ride along at historic low levels. (Do you remember when Prime Rate was 21.5% in the winter of 1980? Today it is 3.25%). I would urge you to take advantage of what is still a “borrowers” market.

Bay Cities Bank has money to lend, in fact, the bank closed on nearly $80 million in new loan production for the first six months of the year. We have the products and expertise to assist you with nearly any credit need. From a wide array of competitive residential products to virtually any type of commercial financing including mortgages, lines of credit, equipment and inventory loans. Bay Cities can tailor a loan structure to fit your needs. In addition, the bank has an SBA lending division that is second to none in the marketplace with lenders that know SBA.

So, is it too late?
We don’t think so and our lenders are ready to assist you with your credit needs NOW. Stop by or call any of our offices and let us show you how Bay Cities can help you take advantage of the market.
